We’re happy to announce this year’s winners of AFAF International strings Competition ”Golden Strings of America 2020″.

 

This year, the level of the competition was exceptionally difficult, with over 14 students partaking in the competition.

 

We would like to thank everyone who participated and encourage those who did not win this year to try again during the next season.

Detailed information about the winners’ concert will be emailed to the winners after December 15, 2020.

 
  • Participation in a Winners’ Recital at the Weill Recital Hall –

    • May 29, 2021 at 1 pm (very limited placements)
    • June 13, 2021 at 7:30 pm (limited placements)
    • June 20, 2021 at 8 pm (limited placements)

  • Recital Fee: $400. This fee includes participation in the concert, five guest tickets, 4 digital pictures, Certificate of Excellence and Diploma of Recognition for the teacher.
  • On December 2021 winners will have the opportunity to travel to Russia to perform in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
  • Participation in special concerts (with solo performances) at Moscow State Art Gallery of A. Shilov and Vladimir Palace in St. Petersburg.
  • Master class with a member of the Moscow Conservatory faculty (for an additional fee).
  • $200 scholarship for the AFAF Music programs in Europe (Russian winter tour).
