2011-2012 Season

The new season is about to start, but 2011-2012 is not quite over. There are several Winners’ Series concerts still to come, so instead of the customary season recap, this page lists the winners of our 2011-2012 regular festival program whose recital dates are scheduled for October and November of this year.

Please note that participants of a special recital at the Liszt House, Weimar, Germany, August, 2012 are marked with *, while winners of the $200 Summer Music Courses in Europe scholarship are marked with **.


Special Prize
In collaboration with the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation

This special prize is presented in association with the Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation (Moscow, Russia). In addition to a special recital at Carnegie Hall, the prize includes five-seven nights room and board in Moscow for the prize winner as well as one accompanying adult. While in Russia’s capital, the prize winner will have the opportunity to give a recital in one of Moscow’s concert halls, participate in a master class with a member of the Moscow Conservatory faculty, as well as take advantage of various excursions around Moscow. Please note that the prize does not include air travel — winners will be responsible for making their own travel arrangements.
