American Fine Arts Festival Concerto Competition 2025

When: The 2024-2025 season

Participation in a Winners’ Recital at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall: TBA

Recital Fee: $450.

This fee includes participation in the concert, five guest tickets, 4 digital pictures, Certificate of Excellence and Diploma of Recognition for the teacher.

How to Apply

Applicants must submit a YouTube link (other platforms can't be used) of their audition performance, along with a completed application online and a non-refundable application fee.                                                                                                     

The recording must be free of background noise and distortion.

Repertoire & Eligibility

Auditions are open to piano, strings and winds player of all nationalities and in the following age categories:

People

A. 7-13 years of age
B. 14-18 years of age
C. college students
D. amateur adults

For the audition, applicants may perform any standard concerto (single movements are acceptable), or any concert piece for which orchestral accompaniment is available. Vocalists may audition in one of two repertoire categories: Classical and Folk Song.
For the concert at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, winners (pianists) will perform a separate solo piece.

For the AFAF Concerto International Competition the application fee is $250.

Concerto Competition | Extraordinary Opportunity

Anyone who is interested in auditioning for the International Concerto Competition will want to make sure they submit their best possible performance. The competition is always extremely song for all areas of the American Fine Arts Festival, though this specific area brings in the best performers from across the country and even around the world. Participants in this competition will gain exposure, and have an exciting experience throughout the competition. Winners will then move on to play for distinguished guests at two of the most well known performance halls in the world.
